Sumo celebrates the expressive beauty of the human form through a bold and sculptural interpretation of the traditional vase. Inspired by the Japanese sport of Sumo, its voluminous body rests upon slender, pointed legs, creating a striking contrast between substantial form and delicate support. The distinctive Horns opening adds an unexpected artistic detail, challenging conventional perceptions of what a vase can be while giving the piece a sense of character and movement. Finished in a rich Coffee tone, its warm earthy hue enhances the sculptural silhouette and contemporary appeal. Designed to stand confidently as an artistic object, the Sumo Vase, Horns is equally compelling displayed alongside other pieces from the collection, where their varied shapes and abstract details come together as a cohesive family.
